I've bought Wood Technology products before and have always been pleased. This time I needed stands that were smaller and of short stature. These looked okay in the picture, [...]The low-grade particle board was crumbling on the edges and they were obviously painted while dirty and with only one thin coat. Granted, these things are priced cheap...and cheap is what you shall get.

Sturdy stand, easy to put together. The finish is poor quality and chips right off. One stand had chips on all three pieces. Since I actually only needed one stand, and the speaker is under a cabinet, it wasn't a big issue for me. However, if both stands were to be used and displayed, I would have returned the set.
