This took many hours of careful work. One must carefully preasseble parts before glueing or mistakes will be made. Vineer and varnish are very thin so I had to put several coates of poly urethine varnish over everything to make it much more durable and better looking. After all of the work the unit is very nice.

Overall, this is a good unit if you have DVDs and CDs all over the place and you want them in just one place; but, I must warn you, be prepared for a long night with this item! The box is a bit heavy and the pieces seem like they never end. I started putting this together last night and have to continue the next day. My advice, let this be one of those Saturday projects for you.
This is not the "elegant" furniture the description makes this out to be. I have this in black. It looks cheap. Although you do get what you paid for, the drawers are way too flimsy. They should've made this with the same material as the rest of the unit. It's made of this cheap flexible plastic and if you are not careful, you will crack it. Not recommended for a young child's room. Once the drawers are cracked, there goes the extra storage space. I'm thinking about ordering extra drawers now just in case this happens. If afraid if I wait too late and they discontinue this unit, I'm out of luck!

Recieved my order very fast. The unit arrived un-damaged. It is not a nice piece of furniture and you get what you pay for. It is constructed ok (took a long time to put together, lot of pieces) but the shelves on the doors are very cheap. This makes a good cabinet to get dvd's out of your way, but if you are looking for a nice piece of furniture, save your money and invest in real wood.
