I use these stands for bookshelf Energy C200 speakers and they fit the bill perfectly. I have also taken them outside for an evening backyard concert so they are also very portable. Excellent choice.

I needed sturdy and attractive stands for my Bose 301 speakers in order to place them on each side of my new 58 inch Plasma HDTV. After much searching to no avail, I came across these stands. They were affordable and appartently well made. But I thought: "for the price, they've got to be mediocre". I purchased them as a temporary, affordable solution.[...] I was blown away with the quality! They exceeded every expectation and are a PERMANENT solution!I couldn't be happier!!Buy this product!

The stands (in black) are very attractive and match my B&W 602's perfectly. There was a marked improvement in sound, too. I have two small nits...The biggest being that the plastic cups included for the spikes to rest in (preventing hardwood floor damage) are pretty useless. The tiny indentation for the spike is so small that you get no feedback when the cup is engaged. Trying to put four of these on is a lesson in frustration. If one comes unseated after your speakers are attached, it's a dicey proposition to get it back on without toppling the whole rig. The other, lesser thing is that the cable pass through is too small if you have heavy wire with bananas already installed. That doesn't bother me too much.
All in all, these are great for the money and the ability to fill them with sand or shot.

I couldn't find many speaker stands to chose from at local retailers, and the ones I found had base-plates that were too small for my B&W 685 bookshelf speakers. Initially I had reservations about ordering online, but in the end I am really satisfied with the purchase. Fit and finish are great, although I do want to add that the silver finish of my stand is matte than in the product images.

The stands are exactly as they discribe. Way cheaper than even ebay hunts I found.I am very pleased with product and will defin. turn to these ppl. when ever I need any other home audio stands. Only con is the small fact its says "VTI" printed on front of stand,besides that,no complaints here.
