The "pictures only" instructions always seem to forget some point to better clarify the construction of the item, making for a disassemble in order to assemble correctly.

The material used to cover the particle board is easily damaged by cables coming out of DVD players, game consoles, etc.

A really good looking,functional,fair priced furniture that accents the 42" Samsung hi-def plasma TV I just bought. The two just go together so well. The cabinet has ample room for my four components and the center channel speaker. I shopped around and looked at approximately 100 cabinets before I chose this one. Highly recommmend it. I'm fussy when it comes to quality and price and this one passes with flying colors.

The stand is used in our new home and we couldn't be happier. Best unit for the value that we were able to find; much nicer than units 2-3 times as expensive. Relatively easy to assemble and extremely easy to move over carpet.

We purchased a brand new Panasonic 50" plasma TV and needed a stylish, yet practical stand to compliment our furniture. This stand fits perfectly, supports the TV and all peripherals (large Denon receiver, 3 surround speakers, DirecTV HD/DVR receiver, DVD player and XBox 360).

I had apprehensions about the "smoked" glass and whether or not the remote signal would be able to penetrate ... not a problem at all. The only thing I did have to tweak a bit was I ended up cutting a slightly larger hole in the back where the cables feed into my Denon receiver since I had so many cables to run :) With the location in the rear this is not visible from the front or side of the unit.

Great value that I would highly recommend for practical shoppers looking for a styling, sturdy stand.

I use this to hold a receiver and multiple other components and speakers with a 40" LCD. Works great for holding center channel speaker in top shelf (although make sure yours fits first!) and left and right speakers fit nicely on the edges. I keep my receiver in the center as well as dvd player and hide the rest of the components behind the frosted glass doors for a clean look. Remotes will still work through the glass just fine, which is something I was a bit concerned about before buying.

In my case I left off the back cover as I had way too much stuff going on to feed through the 2" holes. Also this will help keep my components (especially receiver) cooler. Looks great and can't see through to the wall anyway.

Easy to assemble and very nice. The quality shows this is not an inexpensive piece of furniture that happens to be stylish; it is a stylish piece of furniture that happens to be inexpensive.

stylish, smart piece of furniture. However, there were some chips and scratches in the wood, leaving the particle board to show. However, it came with a nice brown marker, which made it nearly impossible to see.

Product is not as easy to assemble as[@] stuff but I think its better. It might be that I wasnt used to different instructions. For the mooeny this is an awesome satnd. I had a hard time find ing anything that lloked halfway decent and this one looks great! You need room to put this together but once its done its a great stand!

[...] When it arrived, I was glad I was at home since I did not think my wife would be able to move the hulking 100 plus pound box. I opened it for assembly and was very surprised at how well it was packed. I expected tons of damage and there were only two slight indentations on the front two pieces.It appeared someone had leaned it against something and used it as a lever to load it up on something.We were undettered and continued with assembly as it is rare in our home to have a "perfect"piece of furniture.The kit comes with a marker so that if there are bumps or bruises they are touched up easily.It couldnt change the dents but touching up the wood above and below the dents made them virtually invisible from across the room. I also had to monkey around adjusting one of the doors. When it is all said and done it looks fantastic sitting under the wall mounted 50 inch plasma holding the DVR and the Wii. For cost VS quality I would defintely buy this stand again.
