Easy to assemble except that I didn't realize until the very end that the bottom of the shelf was the wrong way. There were no directions or warnings (and I've put together MANY of these things). I had to take it almost completely apart to flip the board around so the smooth surface was showing.

I bought two of these with the captains beds. It matched very nicely. The wood top is a nice touch! We updated the handles to match other hardware in the room, and it turned out great. I was amazed at the quality for this low price. Easy to put together, only took about 15-20 minutes.

The nightstands and matching dresser were exactly what I was looking for to complete a room set up as a guest room and grandchildren's playroom. I put the two nightstands together at the same time and found that worked well. Directions are very clear and the furniture is quite sturdy. HOWEVER, I did get a blister in my palm using a screwdriver on the nightstands and feel that, although guided not to use a power screwdriver, it is much better to do with limited pressure. When I put the dresser together using the power screwdriver, it went quickly and did not hurt my palm). It took 1/2 day to put all three items together. They arrived undamaged and have been well worth the investment.
