The steel base plate provides a solid platform to minimize the speaker's loss of energy and optimize sound reproduction. Adjustable carpet spikes improve sound quality and add stability. Rubber feet are included for wood or tile floors. All models feature a unique resonance-damping ring that is sandwiched between the top plate and pillars.
