Home of majestic forests, ruggedly beautiful mountains, gurgling brooks and swiftly flowing rivers. It is also the home of Riverside Furniture Corporation. But like they would with any old friend, most folks refer to us just by our first name.
Riverside has been growing with America for more than half a century now. Their founder, Herman Udouj, opened the doors to his first factory in 1946, and along with 12 employees who began making handcrafted furniture for the post World War II baby boom era.
Since then, Riverside has been a name that three generations of Americans have come to rely on. Herman said it best more than 60 years ago. "We want the Riverside name to be trusted for quality products that are an affordable value. It's just that simple."
In 2007, Riverside was the recipient of the prestigious Pinnacle Design Achievement Award for its Medley Open Pier Entertainment Center. The Medley collection was also nominated in several other furniture design categories. More on Riverside Furniture...

Comments about Riverside Furniture Urban Crossings 68" W L-Shaped Computer Workstation in Espresso:
The file cabinet has a lock that is not usable. Unless you take the file drawer completely out to remove the locking mechanism, the lock will bash the filing tabs in the middle portion of the drawer. The locking mechanism extends down and if you don't use file tabs to name your files, then you will be fine, but I use them (as do most people), and the lock was destroying them every time I opened or closed the drawer.Additionally, the computer cannot exist in the computer cabinet, as it WILL overheat frequently. There is no vent built into the cabinet, and so there is no air flow. I had to leave the door to the computer cabinet open before I gave up and moved the computer to OUTSIDE the desk; now it sits under the desk. This desk is beautiful but hairbrained, and I truly wish I had not bought it. I e-mailed the manufacturer, and when they finally responded (it took them a LONG time - a couple weeks) they basically said "Sorry, thanks for pointing out these design flaws". That's all. [...]Now I need the filing cabinet that matches this desk, but I don't want to buy it, because I'm worried it wont' work properly!!
