I use the arm to mount a 42" Panasonic plasma TV in a bedroom so that it can be moved to directly opposite the bed, or directly opposite a side chair, or pushed to the wall when not in use. It works well for these tasks, and I was able to install it myself with no difficulties.

This product has one fatal flaw, and that is the manufacturer has chosen not to produce a universal center channel mount. For this reason I can no longer recommend this mount.

Purchased and received this sturdy mount (for a 42 inch Panasonic plasma) in about 5 days and installation and mounting took about 90 minutes (I took my time).\n\nFit in wall studs perfectly and all pieces fit with zero trouble. DEFINITELY a two man job when time to position the plasma but once on, this mount handled the weight great.\n\nAdjustments are easy "in and out" and "left and right". Tilting requires turning a knob on the top back which, in our situation, is a little tedious since our plasma is positioned with the knob about eight feet from the floor. But it's fine.\n\nDefinitely would suggest getting this mount for a 42 inch plasma. Allows the TV to sit very close to the wall or extend pretty far if you choose. Looks great in black.\n\nDownload the specs to get a full understanding of how it will work for your wall but if you go with it, you'll be pleased.
