I wanted a really nice way to display my A/V Home Theater units and I looked around at different systems of racks available. Initially I bought the Lovan Legacy Stand with the 4" posts to display my power amplifier and the 10" Lovan Legacy Stand to place on top to display the receiver.

The stands fit perfectly on top of each other, stacking quite neatly,. The fact that they touch each other only on the points of the leg stand to the precisely engineered location top of the leg of the lower stand insures that they will pick up minimal vibration from the floor with the sub woofer's effects and all.

To protect my wood floor, I bought the silver metallic floor protectors for the very bottom unit's pointed legs to rest upon. I went a step further installing felt pads on these metal floor protectors to be able to move the unit (be careful as they are not connected - I slide the unit by pulling the very bottom stand as everything else is balanced on it) without scratching the floor.

This is a very attractive, very well made equipment stand. If you have nice components and want to show them off, this is the stand to do it. Granted you have to want to show off your cables too...but hopefully they are also top shelf.

IF you are going to put this on a shelf or cabinet, you really need the footers that Lovan sells separately, unless you want to dig craters into your furniture or hardwood floors. The isolation points are indeed pointy.
