The bench is nice, just a little small for a living room piece. It looks too small on a medium size wall. Better suited for a children's room to store toys. Very sturdy though for adults to sit on.

It came with one ding in it, fortunately it is on the back side. I use it in the entry way of the house for shoe storage. My 12 year-old son assembled the whole thing. It's working out great.

I searched a long time for a bench that would fit in our long, narrower entry way. We wanted one that had storage,was modern,not to deep,was the right color and of course not to expensive. This bench fit the bill perfect. It is beautiful. It is made strong, has tons of storage, was a great price, and the dark, reddish color stain is perfect for our decor. I get compliments on it every time someone comes into my house. My only suggestion would be to get or make a cushion or something to cover the seat as like most wood products it can scratch easily if used regularily. I would definiately recommend this bench to everyone.

have gotten lots of good comments about product. Everyone though it was really cute. I do daycare and store all the sleeping bags and pillows in there and it works great! Plus the kids love to sit on it. So far so good. It is not a high end product but well made and looks good. The directions for putting it together I did not like but I've done lots of other put together projects and this was very simple.

We needed an attractive storage solution to hold our extra sheets and blankets. This bench does the trick! The ONLY negative I need to comment on is that you need to be VERY careful when you assemble this bench as you can over tighten a screw and crack the wood, which is not of super high quality. However, for this price I found it to be an excellent buy. Just realize that the wood is not oak or maple, but a softer wood which needs to be somewhat babied.

I set this bench in my entryway. It works well to sit and take on/off shoes, for shoe storage and also for a toy box for my daughter. I like the way the hinges won't let the lids slam. Great quality for the price!
