This product is okay for what it is, but be forewarned that Racks and Stands' description, at least at the time that I purchased this item and at the time that I am writing this review, is inaccurate and misleading. Racks and Stands' describes this as being made from "solid hardwood construction," when, in fact, it is nothing more than cheap laminated particle board without so much as an ounce of hardwood to be found in it anywhere. Again, for what it is, i.e., standard cheap particle board construction, it's not bad. The shelves are rather poorly spaced, making it difficult to optimize the number of CDs and/or DVDs you can fit into it, but otherwise it's an attractive and functional enough piece of furniture. But do not buy this expecting it to be "solid hardwood" or you will be as disappointed as I was.
