Not perfectly level. Screw holes had excess metal still in place that had to be removed.

It is great for the grandkids to use as a booster chair. They can sit at the table with the "big kids" now. It is also so good for helping Grandma fix dinner. It brings back old memories for me!! One day it will bring back happy memories of going to Grandma's for them too!

The chair serves two purposes - a seat when I just want to sit a while when in the kitchen. Plus I serves as a step ladder. Lastly, my cat sits on it when she's watching me in the kitchen. \nI think it was worth it and I liked the design - it reminds me of one my mum has at home (in England).

the description did not state that it was a child's chair. when it came, it was on the box edge, and was not noticed until after opened for a present and put together. we wondered why it was so small. gave it away.

I grew up with a chair/stool of this nature, and hoped to own one of my own. It's great to have a new one that doesn't creak, and wobble when using it. \nIt was fairly easy to assemble, and as long as all of the hardware is installed correctly, and snug, this is as sturdy, or sturdier than the originals. \n\nI would/will recommend this chair/stool to everyone!

It's exactly what I thought it would be. I have an older version of this stool type of chair (which is a little heavier and a little sturdier), but I still think this chair is great. My 22 month old loves using it (only under adult supervision).

My grandmother purchased a cosco stool years ago when my cousins and I were all growing up. It had steps and a padded seat for us to more easily reach the table. Now that her first great-grandchild has arrived she wanted a new cosco stool. It was not easy to find, but Im glad I did! The stool looks great, feels great and is the same cosco quality she remembered.
