After getting help to bring the shipping box into my house, fortunately all the individual pieces (i.e. glass shelves) were a manageable weight for me to handle and put together myself. It was snap to assemble and goes great with my new 52" flat screen.

I've assembled a lot of furniture kits and this was relatively easy. The parts were well finished, the stand very solid. It's hard to tell from the pictures but this a very attractive, expensive-looking stand, especially for my high gloss black finish TV. This is the first furniture kit item I've ever bought that doesn't look like a kit! I was also kind of surpised that three big pieces of glass made it to me without breaking.
